Bridging the gap between industry and academia the third hybrid seminar of the 2025/26 Maritime Masters, kindly supported by Clarksons, will be held on Thursday the 14th of May 2026. This seminar will explore the effect of global tensions and will feature 3 keynote speakers from across the maritime industry, each elaborating on how geopolitics influence both the sector as a whole and their businesses in particular.

17:45 - 3 x 20 Minute Presentations
18:45 - Q&A
19:00 - Networking for those attending in person

Students and tutors from the participating universities are invited to attend the seminar virtually or in person and to network with industry representatives.

The Maritime Masters programme is run by Maritime UK and sponsored by Clarksons and Expleo.

Registration for in person attendance is limited and will close once all spaces are filled. Registration to attend online is open until Tuesday the 12th of May 2026. 

Please note that all persons registered to attend will receive a reminder 2 days before the event and a second 2 hours before the event which contains the link to attend virtually. The link to attend virtually will become active 15 minutes before the event, at which time virtual attendees will be able to log in to the waiting room.
