Debbie Cavaldoro

Debbie comes from a communications background and has spent more than ten years in the maritime sector. In 2021 Debbie became chief executive at Port Skills and Safety, a membership organisation working for safer ports and skilled port workers. 

Prior to this she worked at Nautilus International, the maritime professionals trade union in communications, policy and strategy roles. She has received various awards whilst working for Nautilus including the TUC Communications Awards in 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2017, the European Association Awards in 2018 and Association Excellence Awards 2018 & 2019, and was a finalist in the Transport Journalist of the year award in 2015.

Debbie is the Co Chair of the Diversity in Maritime Taskforce.
