Maritime UK commissions biennial independent economic research into the value and contribution of the maritime sector.
The most recent research, produced by the Centre for Economics and Business Research, was published at a Parliamentary Reception during London International Shipping Week 2017.
New research, including enhanced forward-look analysis will be launched during London International Shipping Week 2019. The research will form the major component of a new 'State of the maritime nation' report.
2019 Research - Maritime Business Services
On behalf of Maritime UK and Maritime London, the Centre for Economics and Business Research (Cebr), invites you to participate in a study into the contribution of the Maritime Business Services industry to the national economy.
The purpose of this survey is to acquire data that will be used in Cebr’s modelling to estimate the economic impact of the Maritime Business Services sector (MBS). This forms part of wider research into the UK Maritime Sector where the MBS industry comprises 1 of the 5 industry reports (the others being Shipping, Ports, Marine Engineering and Leisure Marine).
The responses from this survey will be aggregated within the modelling and no individual company statistics will be identifiable in the final report. In addition to this, individual responses to this survey will go directly to Cebr and will not be copied or sent to anybody outside the company.

We would greatly appreciate your responses by June 5th 2019.
