SPEGC, Economic Promotion Agency of the Government of Gran Canaria is delighted to invite you to our maritime workshop.

The maritime sector in Gran Canaria/Las Palmas offers great opportunities for innovation and digital transformation. The Port of Las Palmas is the Mid Atlantic’s largest port, a EU- standpoint in West African waters and the 4 th in the Spain in terms of combined cargo statistics, plus a leading energy port within Spain, including bunkering and the forthcoming offshore floating revolution. This makes the Port of Las Palmas a key sandbox to test, finance and scale-up prototypes and technical solutions.

The Government of Gran Canaria is now launching a dedicated Innovation Centre and a National High Tech Incubator in Data Analytics and AI applied to shipping, logistics and other port activities. This event will serve as a unique opportunity to showcase potential benefits of running IT/Data and Ports cross-related projects, including direct funding, up to 75% R&D tax credit, talent & training, etc.More information to follow.
