MLF - session 4

Register here for the fourth Maritime Leaders Forum which will be held 1800 – 2100 on Monday 10 July 2023 at Trinity House. Sarah Kenny will lead a pan-industry panel reviewing the impact of digitisation and automation across the maritime industry. We will then discuss future developments in the technology and how it can deliver international business success and accelerate progress towards our climate change objectives.

The forum is an opportunity for you to influence policy and share best practice with other leaders, as we work to energise the UK Maritime Sector while meeting the national and international Climate Change objectives. With such a substantial topic, delegates are encouraged to offer their experience, as well as ask questions of the panel. We are looking for a wide-ranging discussion, considering how we can maximise the benefits of technology while understanding the risks, including those associated with cyber technology.

At the conclusion of the formal session there will be a networking reception.

As leaders, we face shared challenges, right across the maritime sector. Trinity House and Maritime UK have recognised the need to bring leaders together to discuss their approach to shared challenges, share practicable actions and discuss future priorities for action from both government and industry. This session is designed to help businesses develop their use of digitisation and automation.

The event will be at Trinity House, doors open at 1800 and the talk and discussion will begin at 1830, to be followed by the networking reception, finishing at 2100.

There is no charge for attending.

The Panel Members:

  • Sarah Kenny (Chair), CEO BMT Ltd.
  • Jos Standerwick CEO Maritime London.
