You are invited to attend the seventh Maritime Leaders Forum, 1730 for 1815 Monday 11 November at Trinity House.

The Forum will be a review of the evolving challenges and of computer learning and artificial intelligence. Al has been touted as the greatest risk to humanity and also as the greatest economic opportunity of our time. As maritime businesses how do we maximise the opportunity presented by AI while also being aware of its limitations and not getting carried away by the hype?

The Maritime Leaders Forum will provide insight from those with strategic vision on what AI, in its various forms, can do for our sector, now and in future.  To keep our feet firmly in the world of technological reality, the event will also showcase businesses who are deploying AI technologies across a range of different maritime applications delivering commercial and technical benefit to their clients.

The Maritime Leaders Forum is an opportunity to share best practice with industry leaders, as we work to energise the UK Maritime Sector. We plan for a wide-ranging discussion, where the panel are invited to comment on propositions, best practice and questions from the floor. At the conclusion of the formal session at 1945, we move into a networking reception, finishing at 2100. This has proved a valuable opportunity to continue the discussion and make contacts, to promote collaboration in the industry.

The event will be at Trinity House, doors open at 1730 and the talk and the event will begin at 1815. There is no charge for attending.
