#WomenInMaritime Public Speaking Workshop - Liverpool

To benefit a wider audience across the UK, a Public Speaking Workshop will be held in Liverpool on 20 November, hosted by Maritime UK and regional cluster organisation Mersey Maritime.

Feedback through the Women in Maritime Taskforce has highlighted a lack of confidence in public speaking as one of the main obstacles for women entering and progressing in the maritime sector. Maritime UK therefore delivers Public Speaking Workshops to tackle this obstacles in a direct and practical manner.

Run by renowned Shola Kaye, this workshop will cover what it takes to be an all-rounder at public speaking.

Specifically, how to:

2. Become an Inspiring Speaker - how to tell stories that connect and influence

3. Become a Valuable Speaker - structure your talk for success and know your audience

4. Become an Authentic Speaker - know yourself and play to your unique strengths on stage
