News: CLIA Reveals Speaker Programme for December Forum

In its third year, the CLIA Cruise Forum returns in 2016 inviting three speakers to take centre stage, from the world of cruise, broadcast and print journalism, looking back at this year’s successes and looking forward to the next year.

The CLIA Cruise Forum is a key event in the cruise calendar, offering a one-day seminar and networking opportunity for agents and media. Some of the most senior executives from CLIA Cruise Line Members will be in attendance along with three guest speakers.

Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, CEO and President of Celebrity Cruises, will speak on behalf of the cruise industry to comment on the industry’s success in 2016.

Ben Thompson will represent broadcast as a guest speaker. Thompson has an extensive career with the BBC and is currently a BBC Breakfast Business News presenter and also co-hosts BBC Business Live.

Journalist Frank Barrett is the Mail on Sunday’s travel editor as well as an author of 12 books, regularly contributing to BBC Radio 4’s travel and consumer programmes.

Taking place in Windsor, Berkshire, on 13 December, this year’s Cruise Forum offers an exclusive chance to engage with some of the UK’s key agent members. Attendees will also be invited to join an evening of celebrations at the Annual Gala Dinner and the prestigious CLIA Cruise Excellence Awards, where cruise agents who have shown innovation, expertise and have contributed to the success of cruising are honoured. The evening provides an exciting opportunity to network and socialise with UK-based Cruise Line Representatives, CLIA Executive Partners, Travel Agents, and friends of the industry.
