News: Dates Announced for 2017 CLIA Conference

CLIA has today announced the dates for the 2017 CLIA Conference, the largest travel agent convention in the UK.

The CLIA Conference will take place on Wednesday 24, Thursday 25 and Friday 26 May in Southampton and will showcase Cunard’s newly remastered Queen Mary 2 together with Royal Caribbean international’s Navigator of the Seas.

“The Conference will build on the amazing success of this year’s event when three of the most influential men in the cruise industry took centre stage - Carnival Corporation Chief Executive Officer, Arnold Donald, Royal Caribbean Cruises President and Chief Operating Officer, Adam Goldstein and Larry Pimentel, President and Chief Executive Officer of Azamara Club Cruises.  The event attracted a record number of travel agents, cruise lines and sponsors and achieved our highest ever satisfaction level of 100 per cent.” said Andy Harmer, CLIA Europe Vice President Operations.

He continued: “The 2017 CLIA Conference will also feature leading figures from the UK and global cruise industry while providing ships visits, a trade fair, networking opportunities and a gala dinner.”

Registration for the 2017 CLIA Conference will open on 29 September 2016 with the theme for the Conference being announced nearer to the event.
