Catherine Spencer is the CEO of the Seafarers' Charity. She has worked across the third sector in Europe, Asia and the UK. The Seafarers' Charity has undergone change to ensure it meets the needs of the 21st Century. This has included extensive work on equality and diversity, working collaboratively to ensure that all areas of the charity have been considered in an EDI framework. Work has included leading the 2021 Seafarers International Relief Fund and the Seafarers' Covid 19 Fund which was used to support seafarers through beneficiary organisations.
