Tineke is a qualified Transformational Coach and helps Maritime professionals to achieve their career goals by overcoming personal challenges and anxieties as to increase self-confidence and build positive relationships within the maritime work environment. Originally educated as a Maritime Officer and Engineer with a B.Sc. and a BMO degree, she spent a number of years at sea before pursuing a shore-based career in academia and obtaining her MPhil in Maritime Human Factors. Moving from her home country The Netherlands to Scotland UK in 2009 she has started her own business Buoyancy Coaching. Her passion is to help maritime professionals navigate through toxic work environments to overcome self-doubt and anxiety.
