Atlas Elektronik

We are a maritime high-technology enterprise with German roots and a global footprint. The know-how and expertise of our skilled workforce in the fields of hydroacoustics, sensor engineering and information technology have made us the preferred supplier to numerous navies and civilian customers worldwide. As a specialist for underwater acoustics, we are the market and technology leader in many sectors.

We have the capability of integrating different kinds and makes of equipment into a system-of-systems architecture. With that, we have mastered the entire functional chain from sensor to shooter. As a result, we can provide the users of our systems with precise decision criteria. Every day, we work on expanding our stock of knowledge, applying this know-how to the benefit of our customers, and constantly becoming a better company.

Defence Equipment Sales Authority

The Defence Equipment Sales Authority (DESA) offers an alternative way for customers and international governments to acquire proven capabilities in a cost effective manner. DESA handles the disposal of all materiel that can generate revenue within the UK and overseas, for example, aircraft, aircraft spares, ships, boats, river craft and other marine vessels and spares, military and domestics vehicles, with the exception of nuclear, domestic waste and infrastructure. It is unique in government, specialising in the sale of surplus equipment.

Griffon Hoverwork

Hovercraft have the capability to operate over almost any flat surface including shallow water, ice, vegetation, mud, logs and debris, rapids and flood plains. Hovercraft are marine vessels which operate by creating a cushion of air between the hull of the vessel and the surface below.

Our success is based upon our commitment to design and manufacture hovercraft that are adapted to the challenging environments that face our customers. We have developed a range of craft that support light, medium and heavy payload needs. All can be customised to meet different mission and environmental conditions.

Leafield Logistics & Technical Services

Leafieldfounded in 1992, has its core business concerns within the management of naval stock for the range of vessels originally operated by the Royal Navy but which are now in use serving overseas navies. We were, and remain, specifically responsible for the disposal of naval material declared surplus by the UK Ministry of Defence. Over recent years this core business has developed to cover a much wider range of services such as supply chain management, component overhaul, electronic test and obsolescence support but our link to the UK Ministry of Defence and the Royal Navy in particular remains one of the key aspects of the business.

Leonardo

Leonardo is the largest inward investor in the UK defence sector, the largest Italian inward investor to the UK, and one of the biggest suppliers of defence equipment to the UK MoD.

We have experience in international Offshore Patrol Vessel, Frigate, Destroyer and Aircraft Carrier programmes to bring valuable expertise to the maritime business sector.

Our experience gained through these programmes means we are able to offer best practice, products and systems to support the development and export of the UK’s maritime capability, from the gun system on the bow, to aviation on the flightdeck. This capability also covers combat systems engineering in weapons handling, communications, surveillance, protection, training and a global network for logistic support and maritime security solutions.
