Carbon Thirteen – The Venture Builder for the Climate Emergency

As part of our network, we are delighted to introduce you to Carbon Thirteen – The Venture Builder for the Climate Emergency.

Carbon13's Venture Builder will support over 1000 entrepreneurs to build 200 startups by 2024, with the collective potential to reduce emissions by 400 million tonnes of CO2e per year. Founders use their Venture Builder programme at the earliest stage of founding a climate tech startup: preproduct-market fit, or even pre-idea or pre-cofounder.

The eight-month programme sees a cohort of 70+ founders come together to find a committed cofounder, build Carbon Intelligence, pitch for preseed investment and then accelerate their venture's traction and fundraising strategy. Carbon13 grew out of the Cambridge ecosystem of academia, innovation and entrepreneurship, and now runs the Venture Builder programme in both Cambridge and Berlin, their base in the EU.
